The scooter worked just fine and was very helpful on my 7-night cruise. However, the delivery didn't go so well. The delivery person was on time and assembled the scooter promptly. However, he then could not get the scooter to move. He tried several options, but nothing worked. He made a phone call to someone who offered some additional suggestions, but those didn't work either. Then I noticed a lever on the right rear wheel cover which had two positions. I suggested maybe the lever was in the wrong position. He moved the lever and the scooter worked fine. He turned the scooter over to me without any instructions on how to use any on the options. I eventfully figured out how to operate the scooter and was very happy I had it for the cruise. Now that I know how to use it, I will surely rent another in the future.
