Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning as set forth in the Terms of Use.

Logs. By accessing our website, our internet servers automatically record information your internet browser sends when you visit a website. These logs may contain information such as your internet protocol (IP) address, browser version, domain name, language, date and time, the referring website and information in your cookie files (see below for more information regarding cookie files). Through your use of certain aspects of our website, we also may collect transactional information based on your activity on our website. Our website allows you to make certain personal information about you generally available to other users of our website. This privacy policy applies only to information that we collect from you. Certain portions of our website may direct your internet browser to a third party website or a portion of our website controlled by a third party (typically through the use of a frame or pop-up window separate from other content on our website). Disclosure of personal information to such third party shall be subject to the terms of such third party’s privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy policy or content of websites that we do not own, even if such a site is linked on our website.

Protection of Children

Our website is not designed or directed for use by children. If we become aware a person under the age of 18 has provided us personal information, we will discontinue the use of such information and remove it from our systems. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable or demographic information form children under the age of 13.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the ‘My Profile’ page.

Order history data: This data will be retained as long as the user has an account with COG

Payment card data: COG uses Stripe to capture and maintain payment card data. Please refer to their privacy policy listed here

Customer support data: This data will be retained for as long as it is necessary to provide customer support.

Marketing data: This data will be retained for as long as the user has opted in to receive marketing communications.

Analytical data: Non-personal usage data collected through analytical software may be retained for a longer period to analyze trends, improve services, and ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Data Deletion

5.1. User Requests

You have the right to request for personal data – that COG is not obliged to keep – to be deleted. Please note that as a consequence, you won’t for example be able to log in to our web portal or mobile app once this process has been completed. If you wish to request your personal data to be deleted, please contact us via with the subject “DATA DELETION REQUEST”. Please note that there may be instances where access to data or the right to delete specific information may be limited due to legal requirements and fraud prevention purposes.

5.2. Data Retention Period Expiry

Once the applicable data retention period expires, COG will securely delete or anonymize personal data to ensure it cannot be attributed to any individual.

5.3. Backup and Redundant Data

Data stored in backups or redundant systems will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the same retention and deletion procedures as primary data.
