Frequently Asked Questions About Renting for the HBCU Power Summit

Yes, you can easily rent a reliable mobility scooter for your trip to the summit. We deliver standard and sturdy scooters directly to your local accommodation in New Orleans. This ensures you have the mobility support you need for the entire event weekend.

We absolutely deliver strollers to locations surrounding the museum venue. You can have a single or double stroller dropped off at your hotel or vacation rental before you head to the event. This saves you from packing bulky child care equipment from home.

We highly recommend reserving your wheelchair as soon as you confirm your travel dates for the summit. The Bayou Classic weekend draws massive crowds to New Orleans, which increases demand for mobility rentals. Booking early guarantees your equipment will be available.

The historic Tremé neighborhood has many accessible pathways, but some older sidewalks may be uneven. Our sturdy mobility scooters are designed to handle typical urban environments safely. We suggest staying aware of your surroundings while exploring the local architecture.

While we primarily deliver to your hotel or residential address, we can sometimes arrange drop offs near specific event venues. We advise checking with the museum organizers regarding their specific delivery and drop off policies before scheduling a venue delivery.

Every mobility scooter we deliver arrives fully charged and ready for immediate use. We also provide the charging cable so you can recharge the battery at your hotel room overnight. This ensures your scooter remains powered up for the entire duration of the summit.

Extending your stroller rental is a simple and straightforward process. You can log into your customer account online and modify your rental dates, or you can contact our customer support team directly. We are always happy to accommodate changes whenever possible.

We offer a great selection of high capacity wheelchairs for visitors attending the summit. These models feature wider seats and higher weight capacities for maximum comfort. You can select the specific model that best fits your requirements during the checkout process.

Many of our portable mobility scooters break down into smaller, manageable pieces that fit perfectly into a standard car trunk. This makes it incredibly easy to use rideshare services or taxis when traveling between your hotel and the museum. Just check the product details for transport instructions.

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, especially when attending large events. We offer a flexible cancellation policy that allows you to cancel your reservation before the scheduled delivery date. Please review the terms on our website for specific refund details.
