Theme park vacations are exciting, but they can also be exhausting when families are managing strollers, bags, tired toddlers, and long walking days with grandparents or older relatives. Between airports, hotels, and crowded parks, packing too much often adds unnecessary stress to the trip.

A better approach is to pack only the essentials and rent larger travel items at the destination. Cloud of Goods helps families travel lighter by offering stroller rentals, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, cribs, baby gear, and other travel essentials in many destinations.

What to Bring From Home

Keep your packing focused on personal and lightweight essentials, including:

  • Medications
  • Snacks and water bottles
  • Sunscreen and hats
  • Child comfort items
  • Phone chargers
  • Important travel documents
  • Lightweight extra clothes

What to Rent at the Destination

Renting bulky items after arrival can make travel days much easier. Many families choose to rent:

  • Strollers or double strollers for toddlers
  • Mobility scooters for grandparents or older relatives
  • Wheelchairs for long walking days
  • Cribs or baby gear for hotel stays

Why Planning Ahead Helps

Theme park days involve far more walking and waiting than most families expect. A stroller can help children rest while also carrying bags and essentials throughout the day. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs can help grandparents stay comfortable and enjoy more time with the family instead of sitting out activities.

Before the trip, it helps to:

  • Reserve gear early
  • Confirm delivery details
  • Keep essentials in one easy-to-carry bag
  • Plan breaks during the day
  • Stay flexible with schedules

Families can explore a wide range of rental equipment and travel support services through Cloud of Goods, with online booking and delivery available to eligible destinations including hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, cruise port areas, and attractions, helping travelers arrive with less to carry and more freedom to enjoy the experience.

For many families, renting instead of packing makes summer travel feel easier, more comfortable, and far less stressful.
