Lightweight Mobility Scooter Review: Throttle Problems and Idle Response Issues
“The issues I had are specific to the maintenance of this particular scooter.
The scooter has some throttle problems. With the speed setting at the lowest point, pushing/pulling the throttle lever to its max has inconsistent effects. The scooter may proceed slowly, or it may have a sudden and unexpected burst of speed. I had some near misses when this happened.
The scooter does not respond after staying powered on but idle for 5+ minutes. I had to power it down then turn it on again to get it to respond. This was not an issue of a low battery (everything was lit up & showing full charge). ”
