Run by the same family since 1952 and fronted by its original neon sign, this laid-back spa hotel is a mile from Mount St. Helena Golf Course and 5 miles from the Petrified Forest park. Accessed via exterior corridors, the cozy rooms feature flat-screen TVs, dining tables, coffeemakers and minifridges. Upgraded rooms in a Victorian building include HDTVs and a shared veranda. Bungalows add kitchens.There are 2 outdoor pools and a sundeck. The spa offers massages, steam rooms, mud baths, and a hot tub with mineral water.
