A 3-minute walk from the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, this upscale B&B in an 1858 Greek-Revival mansion is 3 miles from Bourbon Street. Uniquely decorated rooms range in style from homey to opulent; some add themes such as jazz or vampires. All feature TVs, VCRs, minifridges and Wi-Fi access. Some add period furnishings, murals and whirlpool or claw-foot tubs, as well as canopy beds, flat-screens and/or kitchenettes.Continental breakfast is served in a grand dining room that has a chandelier and a fireplace. There's a veranda, a courtyard and a living room. Kids age 12 and up are welcome. Minimum-stay rules apply. There's no elevator.
