Part-Time Email Marketing Consultant (Klaviyo)

We are seeking a part-time, mid-career level Email Marketing Consultant to build Cloud of Goods’ email marketing program from the ground up. This is a high-impact role for a strategic and hands-on expert who will own email marketing end-to-end — from strategy and creative direction, to campaign setup in Klaviyo, to performance measurement and ROI optimization.

Commitment:

~15–20 hours/week

About You:

The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented: capable of setting a vision for how email can drive revenue, while also rolling up their sleeves to design, launch, and optimize email journeys and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing Strategy

- Define the email marketing roadmap aligned with growth goals.

- Develop segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies to maximize engagement and revenue.

- Establish best practices for deliverability, compliance, and frequency.

Creative Direction & Execution

- Collaborate with creative teams (design, copy, video) to develop compelling, brand-aligned content.

- Provide creative briefs, oversee asset development, and ensure high-quality output.

- Create high-performing templates, A/B testing frameworks, and optimized subject lines.

Klaviyo Setup & Campaign Management

- Build and manage automated flows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, post-rental follow-up, loyalty campaigns).

- Execute promotional campaigns and seasonal campaigns directly in Klaviyo.

- Implement dynamic content, personalization, and segmentation.

Analytics & ROI Optimization

- Track key metrics (open rates, CTR, CVR, revenue attribution, deliverability).

- Generate reports and insights for leadership.

- Continuously optimize campaigns for engagement and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

- 4–7 years of professional experience in email marketing, ideally in eCommerce, travel, or marketplace businesses.

- Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo (setup, journeys, segmentation, reporting).

- Proven track record of building email programs from scratch and scaling them into major revenue channels.

- Excellent understanding of email marketing KPIs, best practices, deliverability, and compliance.

- Strong creative instincts and experience leading cross-functional creative projects.

- Analytical mindset with ability to measure, iterate, and improve ROI.

- Excellent communication and project management skills.

- Experience with travel, accessibility, or family-focused industries is a plus.
