Business Development Consultant (Travel Partnerships)
We are seeking part-time Business Development Consultants in key U.S. markets to establish partnerships with travel industry organizations — including hotels, attractions, cruise lines, conference centers, travel agencies, and tour operators.
Location:
Florida (Orlando, Miami, Port Canaveral), Los Angeles, Anaheim, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Seattle
Commitment:
Up to 20 hours/week
About You:
The role is focused on outbound business development (cold calling, cold emailing, site visits, networking) with the goal of signing partnership agreements or MOUs. Consultants will also drive growth by enrolling local travel industry partners into our affiliate program, where they earn commission for referring customers who rent through CloudofGoods.com.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development- Identify and approach potential partners: hotels, attractions, cruises, conference centers, travel agents, tour operators.
- Pitch Cloud of Goods’ rental marketplace and explain the benefits to their guests/customers.
- Negotiate and secure agreements, MOUs, or affiliate sign-ups.
Outreach & Sales- Conduct cold calls, cold emails, and in-person site visits to generate leads.
- Deliver presentations and demos about Cloud of Goods services.
- Build strong local relationships within the travel and hospitality ecosystem.
Affiliate Program Growth- Sign up travel agents, hotels, and attractions into Cloud of Goods’ affiliate program.
- Promote affiliate benefits, including 10% commission for referring customers.
- Support affiliates with onboarding and marketing materials.
Market Expansion & Representation- Represent Cloud of Goods in local travel industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitive activity, and partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales (travel, hospitality, or tourism industry preferred).
- Strong local knowledge and connections in one or more target markets (Orlando, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, Port Canaveral, New York, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, San Antonio, Houston).
- Proven track record of pitching and securing B2B partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter comfortable with cold outreach and in-person meetings.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and report progress.
