Do I need a special driver's license for basic scooter rentals?

No, you do not need a special driver's license. But a  valid driver's license from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, or the European Union is required. If you have a driver's license from a region that isn't mentioned, you must have the words "driver's license" in English on your card. Permits for learners are not accepted.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes, you must wear helmets and eye protection. We have a broad range of helmet sizes available and eye protection for individuals who do not have their own eyeglasses or sunglasses. Failure to comply may result in the issuance of a ticket.

What if there is heavy rain or snowfall?

Sometimes, ice or snow on the roadways may force us to postpone. If we believe the roads will be unsafe, we may refuse to let you travel. We'll have to postpone if there's ice or snow on the roadways. We suggest that you bundle up if it is chilly outside. There may be rain showers in the spring and summer where you opt to pull over and wait. We will work with you to reschedule if the day is expected to be rainy rather than occasional showers.
